A Poster's Lament, and A Post-Riposte

Of the many urgent expressions of unease and disaffection that have appeared in recent hours on the Raging Bull ERHC message board, none has been more poignant and eloquent than this post from infrequent poster stocks2rise:

Looks like the SHO has not affected the pps [price per share] at all. I think we will see a continuing drop until awards are announced. The shorters are apparently not scared. They know this could drag out for a long time and they are willing to gamble that it will. We will all have to tighten our belts again and grit our teeth. It is painfully obvious the Nigerians cannot be true to their word. I feel they are actually still negotiating the bids in order to make more money. So much for a legal bidding process. The fortnights are getting old. The Barry Morgan articles have cried wolf too many times. The awards are dangling like a carrot but remain out of reach. All we can do is wait in pain daily if not hourly for a tidbit of news. Our saving grace will be the award of at least one block. The $64 question is "When will that be? This year? I have been in this stock since April of last year and have followed all the developments and improvements in the company. All have not affected the pps positively. In fact it has gone down. Does not make sense to me. It seems we are given hope weekly only to just fade away like smoke. The tension on this board has spiked big time. I rarely post anymore because I cannot stand the bickering. The sad thing is I still watch daily hoping for some action. I want to be there when the award is finally given. My hat is off to those that have been here for years. I don't think I could have lasted that long. It is all I can do to stay now. If I did not believe this could be a life changing stock I would not hesitate to drop it. Alas, but it is. I believe in the stock and the direction it will take. I just don't believe the hype anymore. The JDA cannot be trusted. The only thing that will save us is to get the blocks awarded and start drilling. Then we will see what we have in reality.

And the basher monkeytrots justifiably takes pumper yemenoilto task for a series of posts last Friday that predicted an imment explosion in the price of ERHC:

Yemenoil - care to apologize for the pumping ? Since you are so intent on 'nailing the bashers' - how about evaluating your own actions:

monkeytrots adds:
But, I am on ignore, right Yemenoil ? So this is just whispering amongst the willows. Shame, Shame, Shame ... yemenoil. Trying for a little pop on Friday through shameless pumping so you could have some weekend cash. Of course, nobody was really foolish enough to believe any of the pumping going on around here, now were they?

An observant reader might notice that monkeytrots faults yemenoil for his posts, but fails to provide his Voluntary Disclosure data as yemenoil has done, which fundamentally absolved the latter. One should reasonably expect such hyperbole from someone who is enthusiastically long on ERHC.
