Buying In At .45

I just bought 1,000 shares at .45, much to my surprise. I made an offer at the bid, which has fallen to 0.45 over the first 5 hours of trading from an open at 0.485, and really didn't expect to get filled.

The purchase upped my average on the last 64,000 shares I've purchased from 0.4007 to 0.40013, an almost infinitesmal upwards nudge, and the cost of my commission (E*Trade's $9.99 Power User price) was erased when the price jumped 0.05 cents - or almost erased, anyway.

I now have 123,000 shares altogether at an average cost of around .44010. The value of my shares will rise or fall $1,230 with every cent of movement. That's why I got such a start when I saw the .36 misprint this morning - that 0.121 drop would have been an abrupt $14,762 hit!
