Visit Us On Video At PalTalk, Or Voice Conference Free With Skype!

ERHC On The Move has now enabled our PalTalk group to support text, audio and full-motion video, and the Skype free PC-to-PC telephone service for Conference Room calls.

Using your PalTalk Messenger, you can find us in PalTalk under "Miscellaneous," listed as "ERHC On The Move" on the list of PalTak groups.

To find us in the Skype phone directory, go to Tools -> Search for Contacts, and type in joeshea. Double-click on my name to bring up the Skype interface, and then click on the face to call me.

Note: All these programs work better with a broadband cable or DSL high-speed Internet connection, but will work with dial-up as well.

If you do not have PalTalk, go to www.paltalk.com and download a free copy of PalTalk Messenger 8.0. If you have a webcam attached to your computer, just hit send video and view videio to send or receive. We are licensed for an unlimited number of video screens.

We are also now enabled for Skype Conference Room and one-to-one voice discussions. The Conference Room discussions are limited to five people.

Incidentally, because it uses a broader frequency range, Skype delivers local and long distance calls completely free of static and of better quality than conventional voice phones. You can call amny registered member at their computers anywhere in the world for free, and at their regular telephones for a deeply-discounted rate.

To get Skype (rhymes with "type"), go to www.skype.com, download the free software, register your name and then send me your username at amreporter (at) aol.com, or go to "Tools", "Search" and type in joeshea, and call me if I'm online. I will notify you when conference calls are scheduled.

You will need a microphone to speak and be heard on PalTalk and Skype, but only need your speakers turned on tolisten to the discussion on Skype. Adding a camera will allow you to see your moderator and other members who have web cameras on PalTalk.
