XOM Won't Confirm JDA Notification

A spokesperson for ExxonMobil today would not confirm information posted on the Raging Bull ERHC Energy message board purporting to be from the Nigeria-Sao Tome and Principe Joint Development Authority and saying that the company has been notified that it must exercise its choices in Blocks 2 and 4 in the JDA's second licensing round within 30 days from Feb. 18.

To comment would be to discuss the company's "forward business plans," spokesperson Susan Reeves told ERHC On The Move.

Joe - How did you manage to contact someone at XOM for comment during the weekend?

Joe thank you for contacting XOM. The previous message by anonymous implies that you couldn't have possibly gotten confirmation over the weekend and that you are misleading us. Despite the fact that you listed the contacts name.

This is a perfect example of the ERHE "longs" who dont have a clue about anything. They are the most misinformed group of investors I have ever seen in my life. They get real pissy and go into immediate denial anytime someone tries to explain something to them (even when its correct) that doesnt jive with their view.

Whether its someone in denial about your information from XOM.

Or "longs" reading too much into the recent Upstream article about Pioneer where they are talking about two deepwater blocks off of Nigeria and the dumb idiots on RB are trying to imply those blocks are in the JDZ when clearly they are not.

The longs of ERHE comstantly make fools out of themselves and give the stock a bad name. People harrassing the JDA and Pioneer doesnt do anyone any good. The only thing that could possibly do is make matters worse by pissing someone off. And that can only harm ERHE in the long run. You would have thought they would have learned after they got barry morgan in trouble but they just never learn. Now they are harrasing Pioneer and who will it be next Exxon? Thats just plain stupid. And causes more harm than good.

Joe thanks for the information on XOM. ERHE is a good company and will do well. But unfortunately the longs give the company a bad name.

I agree with last person. Someone should post that message on raging bull. It would be fun to see the response.

Joe,

Call the JDA for yourself you fool. It's not that difficult. Here's the phone #: 011 234 9 524 1065.

Yeah call the JDA. And while your a it why dont you call President Bush and see if he has any insight.
Leave the JDA, Pioneer, Exxon and ERHC Energy alone and let these people do their jobs.

We`ve heard this song and dance before, too many times. Now on the actual day of an announcement of awards and published accounts thereof, the stock will do little. This is not an investment until the rigs are in the waters and discoveries made. I`ll hold tight my 296,785 shares even though all in this deal have lost credibility with me, a long time ago. Most posters to the message boards just blow smoke, Joe just keeps an equilibrium. Kudos, Joe

Joe, I see you've joined the list of folks that have been impatient with their investment by supposably contacting XOM about their forward business plans in the JDZ. Did you actually expect a yes? lol

It's in your best interest to log the confirmation PR today Joe, save the commentary for later.
