Houston Chronicle May Do Story On ERHC

After speaking to an editor in Houston, I got a call from reporter in the Washington bureau of the Houston Chronicle, who may do a story on ERHC for the paper, which is especially knowledgeable about the oil industry. At this point, he is merely looking into it.

He had written about Sao Tome, he said, but knew very little about ERHC; he had seen the Los Angeles Times story by Ken Silverstein from May 2003.

We talked for about 10 minutes. We covered most of the recent history of the company, and I pointed him to ERHC On The Move, Raging Bull, www.cstome.net, the SEC filings, the Houston lawsuit, and Ali Memon for more. He seemed intrigued by many facets of the story, colorful and otherwise.

As mentioned, I had spoken with an editor of the Chron earlier. He also seemed quite interested in the complicated story of ERHC. However, they were unable to get a reporter to the meeting due to other commitments and the lateness of the hour (I didn't speak to him until noon their time). They had covered the story of the Block 1 award to ChevronTexaco this week.
